Kevin Kelly’s SXSW talk was the least inspiring and most boring session I have experienced in a while. If this was it, the golden days of tech are over.
Insects grow quickly, reproduce quickly in huge quantities, most die immediately, all die after a short life. They adopt quickly to a changing environemt by means of survival of the fittest. Insects will not create culture. They will never evolve more intelligent because their paradigm is wasting their masses to have a view survivor.
Silicon Valley startups are like insects.
