Kevin Kelly’s SXSW talk was the least inspiring and most boring session I have experienced in a while. If this was it, the golden days of tech are over.

Insects grow quickly, reproduce quickly in huge quantities, most die immediately, all die after a short life. They adopt quickly to a changing environemt by means of survival of the fittest. Insects will not create culture. They will never evolve to become more intelligent because their paradigm is wasting their masses to generate a few survivors.

Silicon Valley startups are like insects.
